The Duke Of Kendal is situated in Connaught Village, close to Marble Arch Station, a superb place for a relaxing drink and/or meal after a busy day’s shopping in nearby Oxford Street or after enjoying yourself in the even closer Hyde Park. It’s a friendly local pub with a great atmosphere where customers come to have a drink, enjoy the outstanding homemade food, challenge themselves in the quiz, sing and dance during the music evenings, or to demonstrate their spirit of fair play supporting their favourite teams in football and other sports! Situated close to Tony Blair’s residence, Connaught Village is a hidden jewel, a pleasant and tranquil area of the big city that is London.
For a few years now, the pub has been run by owner Ali, manageress Maria, and their staff, to deliver the best experience as possible during your time at the Duke of Kendal.
If you’re hungry, our Hungarian chef Victor will prepare his delicious homemade English food from the menu, and don’t forget to ask about the specials of the day!
The Kendal is separated into two parts: the main bar and the dining room. The pub is equipped with three 3D HD televisions (not all sports events are in 3D). Seats are also available outside, where you can have a drink or meal. The outside area is a real sun trap on warm summer days and is hugely popular.
The dining room offers 36 seats and it is available for private hire. Feel free to contact us to book a table, or to hire the whole dining area for celebrations such as birthdays, Christmas parties, a reward for your staff, or just to watch a football game with all your friends!
According to the number of guests, we can arrange the table and the seats to you convenience.
